Ruby Morales-Rodriguez, Ruby Bloo, is a San José based self-taught visual artist. Her love for the arts began with learning how to use watercolors and playing musical instruments in elementary school. The living room space in her cozy 1-bedroom apartment is her current art studio. With her artwork, Ruby expresses her admiration for nature and the softer sides of everything life puts us through. Her current work includes themes of fragility, personal growth, and duality. After her day job, Ruby welcomes her nights with warm tea and brief art sessions. Her biggest inspirations are the relationships she holds with those who have hurt and loved her the most. She also loves to reminisce about her childhood and the way the streets used to look.
